Using NSTableView and NSBrowser without callbacks ?

Hi there

I wondered if anyone has experimented with any ways for using NSBrowser and NSTableView (and similar) classes without callbacks. In other words are there succinct efficient ways of giving them the info they need via commands rather than via a call back ?
