I can't see what's wrong with _no_ default button in this case.
I'm inclined to agree that in this case there should be no default.
I'd also add that, from a usability point of view, the sentence and/or
answers are badly phrased. In general it is much clearer for the
buttons to be labelled with verbs. I think [ Erase ][ Abort ] would be
better.
