Hi,
In a current application I would like certain buttons and objects to light
up when the user passes the mouse over them. I'm guessing this is fairly
easy to do. I'll work it out :)
The reason I am writing this email is that I've been using Windows XP a lot
at work, and that has live feedback mouse-over's for all the buttons in the
GUI. It's a neat feature some of the time, but I'm not sure if I prefer it.
Is there any particular reason that OS-X does not choose to implement this
behaviour? Is there something in the HIG that specifies when this should and
should not be used? Objects get send mouseEntered: & mouseExited: anyway, so
I wouldn't have thought it was a performance issue.
Thanks, sorry if this is OT
Oli
