IMHO. Must be a misperception from the days of 10.0.0 and the days of
"documentation forthcoming" ;-).
To be fair to Apple, the behavior of -awakeFromNib being called for the
nib's owner has been documented since at least Openstep 4.0 circa 1996,
and the documentation gives a good rationale' for the behavior too.
