can anyone explain why I get the above warning message when I compile
for deployment?
I raised this last month on xcode-users. I got this reponse from Eric
Albert
at Apple:

Thanks Matt
When i was told that the presence or absence of "const" was the problem
it rang bell. I think I saw the previous discussion, but it didn't
mean much to me at the time. My search for explanations of the warning
did not find your thread because I didn't know I was looking for const.
Let's hope the compiler writers and Xcode team can agree on which way
to go. It's hard on a developer trying to be right when "everyone
else" is wrong. I understand the Safari team have the same problem.
