Look at MamaSam.

Some people developed a framework to access iCal's DB.
Unfortunately, I don't know the thread or the location
right now.

Hi,

we would like to develop a database backend for iCal.app. Since iCal.app works file based it seems we have to generate the *.ics files from the database and store them in a location where iCal.app finds them. iCal.app stores the files in <home>/Library/Calendars by default. Can this be changed somehow? We would write the files into a shared dir on the server and mount this share. Something like iCal.framework (like AddressBook.framework) would be even better but ...

Hints are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Andreas
