CFPreferences and byhost preferences

Hi All,

My app must create a new location adding also a default VPN settings and if i'm wirte (please let me know if you know another way) it must modify two files:


1-
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences
I've update this file using a modified MoreSCF version (it is out of date) creating the new location and the new VPN service.

2-
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ com.apple.betworkConnect.00039375e5a4.plist
What is the best way to modify this file? Using CFPreferences?
