OpenBase looks very nice these days. Perhaps I should try a recent
version.

Jeff,

Thank you. We have been working very hard on OpenBase. OpenBase now offers Rendezvous support, a brand new OpenBase Manager and many enhancements. Our latest update was this past week.

You can also register at http://www.openbase.com for a FREE non-expiring license. The free license supports Java, OpenScript and Objective-C stored procedures among many other advanced features. It allows WebObjects deployment too. We also support a new Cocoa API called Espresso which makes writing Cocoa applications really easy. You will find details in our documentation.

You can get OpenBase 8.0.1 at http://www.openbase.com/download . You can get the latest documentation from http://www.openbase.com/OpenBasePDF_8.0.tgz

Best regards,

Scott Keith
