simple cocoa drawline

Hi guys.

I got sidetracked on the 'lets make the app look like Final Cut' path (damn)

Now I'm here :-) I'm coding my own NSCells to do the drawingin pro-style, and a small question arises:

what is the simplest/fastest way to draw a 1-pixel vertical or horizontal line? Is it simply to draw a 1px wide rect with +[NSBezierPath fillRect]?
