I got a private answer from someone on the ProjectBuilder-users list, but
have been unable to determine the means to accomplish it:

Is the ScreenSaverView class defined in your nib?

If it's not the case, you need to import it before imprting EBSaverView.

so I thought I'd try here.

As it says, you need to import the class "ScreenSaverView" into the nib first. The class is defined in "ScreenSaverView.h", which is part of the ScreenSaver framework (/System/Library/Frameworks/ScreenSaver.framework).
