Hi,
I've got some issues using Xcode to set up a table with a combo box as the
cell in one of the columns. I dragged the NSComboBoxCell onto my
NSTableView, and it drops in, but the arrows of the combo box are not
vertically centered (I'm not letting the combo box draw the big blue arrows
-- it's the more discreet one with just two small black arrows). The control
is too low, and the tip of the bottom arrow is clipped. There is plenty of
space in the row, and if only the two combo box arrows were drawn vertically
centered, but they're not, so it looks like garbage. I have tried all
combinations of table fonts and control sizes (11 point font + regular size,
11 point font + small size, 11 point font + mini size, and so on), to no
avail. Even if I use a large font and a small control, it still draws the
arrows as if they're bottom-aligned, and the tip of the bottom arrow is
clipped, leaving all this wasted space at the top of each row.
This is a project and a nib file upgraded from the December 2003 Project
Builder set, if that helps. It's also the updated version of Xcode (1.1 or
whatever).
Thanks for any help that can be given,
Mike
