Hi,
It could be documented, or maybe a well known fact, but I just realized
this: in IB, when you connect an outlet to a UI element (or when you
connect an UI element to a target/action), the names of the variable
(or the method) and the title of the widget are used to propose you the
most likely choice in the connection inspector.
For instance, if you connect a button titled 'Select', and you have
many actions with one of them named -selectSomething:, this action will
be selected by default in the Inspector. Cool!
With all the focus on Xcode and frameworks, IB is IMHO the unsung hero
of the Cocoa tool chain. After more than 15 years (NeXTSTEP was
released in 1988), Interface Builder is still one of the best
development tool, all categories included. And it hasn't changed much
in all that time! My thanks to the IB team.
