Newbie question: creating a new project

I'm using the latest XCode on Panther and trying to follow the example at
http://developer.apple.com/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/ObjCTutorial/chapt
er03/chapter_3_section_2.html, but when I choose "New Project", the only
items listed under Application are three AppleScript projects. Is there
something wrong with my installation of XCode, perhaps?
