NSArrayController and TableView

  • Subject: NSArrayController and TableView

I have set up an NSArrayController to control the display of a table column. It works ok, the only problem is when i add an item to the array.
I do this programatically, not through the add: method of the controller.

After i add an item to the array, nothing happens. The table view is not updated.
However, if i click on the column header, then the new items appear.

I just want changes i make in the model (mutable array) to automatically and instantaneously appear in the table view.

thanks in advance
alan
