Having spent a while looking around the online documentation I have to say there is far more available than I thought, including code snippets and discussions. This is just what I've been looking for.

Indeed. I've been impressed with the amount of quality of material that's been showing up there of late. I've started browsing http://developer.apple.com/ regularly just to start seeing the new stuff going up.

I think those of us internally appreciate the comments. :-)

We've still got much work to do though, and constructive feedback is always welcome.

When doc pushes happen, I'll post a note here to let folks know when the updates occur, and a pointer to the Updates list.

Thanks Scott and company!

It is great to have such a direct connection between the community and the documentation writers and developers at Apple. I have seen the rather rapid response and improvement over the last several months as a result. It will make it easier for folks to tackle the big first steps in learning Cocoa/etc. and smooth the road once the make it over the hill, this can only be a good thing for the platform.

Keep up the great work, I know it can be tiring and inglorious work but it is appreciated.

Please put calls out to the community for assistant with coding up examples, etc. I bet lots of folks want to help out here (I know I do).
