I actually did not know that. That's cool, though perhaps a touch
ironic, since my day-job when I'm not hacking on my own spare-time Mac
projects is writing IM software for Windows.

What I hope to do is turn the stuff I'm writing into a reusable
architecture both for my own programs (open or otherwise), and probably
release the framework freely for others to use (under either the LGPL
or revised Artistic license, since I really don't care if the framework
gets used in any potential commercial application or not, and get
headaches dealing with GPL restrictions).

But I don't think I can really touch Adium's tabview implementation
without contaminating my framework, license-wise, and thus forcing me
to GPL it. Otherwise, Adium's implementation sounds like it would suit
my needs for this project pretty well. :/
