Can any one explain why an NSImageView - created via [[NSImageView alloc] initWithFrame:rect] provides a non-zero value to the request for [[imageview cell] controlView] in 10.3.X - but returns nil in 10.2.8? This object has been created via IB as well as with inline code.

The archives were searched - I've done the RTFM routine - still, no good reason or workaround pops up. The development environment is XCode 1.2 with the 10.2.8 SDK. This would have been a productive day were it not for this unfortunate, still unresolved, sidebar.
