Why? (Andreas ask.)
My application is a calendar, a scheduler.
After login it reminds me what I have scheduled for
today or in a week. It looks in a file RTF. If there
are no messages it quits immediately. Otherwise it
displays a tableView. And a nice music. :-)
I f I want to change the preferences actually I can do
it only if there is a message. So I need to force the
appl to stay open if I double click on its icon or
better its alias.
My preferred solution is a small application who
shares the same preferences, I think it should be
possible.
Another solution is a small starter application that
starts the calendar and sends immediately to it a
notification setting a variable.
But first, with your help Im trying to look for a
better solution.

Thank you for your patience. Ich danke dir Andreas.

Mirco
