Well, I did do that. I figured that you could test it from interface
builder and it would at least show you the controls but it does not.
I may be asking for too much, though.
Do you have to set this up in code or am I missing something (certainly
possible!)

No, I mean when they create a new item in the list (table), one of
the columns is a popup menu of locations.
