Err... umm... nothing. Really. Forget it. I guess I got two different trails of thought mixed up here. :-}

What is "selection"?

It's a necessary part of the bindings path if you use an NSObjectController, which I did for my test. There's no such part when you bind to the File's Owner directly. Should have been more clear, sorry.
