I've been quite satisfied with Xcode's Find, except that it isn't always clear that Find in Project adds a lot of features that aren't addressed by the normal Find command. Oh yeah, and there is no actual documentation regarding Xcode's RegEx syntax (I remember hearing it's the same as MOKit, but I'm not sure that's entirely true).

It does use the same regex code as MOKit (unless someone swapped in a new implementation since ;-).

MOKit has a document called RESyntax.rtf at the relative path (in the MOKit distro) of MOKit/MOKit/MORegexp/RESyntax.rtf if you want a reasonably formatted version of the full poop.
