Retrieving AppleShare passwords from the Keychain

I hope this is not considered off topic since the Keychain API is Carbon, but I'm working on a Cocoa project and thought this list was still relevant. Apologies if I'm wrong.

I need to access an AppleShare password in the Keychain. The Keychain API allows for reading/writing of Internet and Generic passwords, but not AppleShare, at least from what I can see. I find the documentation incomplete in this regard.
Would I be wrong in thinking that an AppleShare password is just an Internet password with some AppleShare specific attributes? If so, then it would seem that I need to use FindInternetPassswordInKeychain and pass in some attributes. Does this sound correct?
Thanks
