we work here on a large cocoa project (about 160K loc) on powerbook 15" 1Ghz and it is almost unusable... i know that every body at apple use bi g5 and distributed compilation so of course it should be fast... and maybe explain why the performance of XCode is so bad in simple text edition ?

some of our .m file have more than 4000 loc and we maybe should split them... strange that with emacs i never felt the need to split my big files !
