selectRow doesn't call tableViewSelectionDidChange?

  • Subject: selectRow doesn't call tableViewSelectionDidChange?

If I call selectRow on an NSTableView shouldn't I expect the delegate method tableViewSelectionDidChange to be called? It is called when clicking with the mouse but not when I programmatically change the selection with selectRow. Is there some way to make this happen?
