If it's just renaming the mount point, try using a Carbon Alias (or a
Cocoa wrapper, like NDAlias
<http://homepage.mac.com/nathan_day/pages/source.html#NDAlias>)... if
it's actually unmounting and remounting you would probably have to
watch for mount/unmount events and do a rescan or hold one of those
files open so that the unmount wouldn't be allowed by the kernel.
