Outline View losing its rightmost column

  • Subject: Outline View losing its rightmost column

Another apparently easy outline view question to which I can see no solution. I've got an outline view with a main column which contains the usual expandable items, and a narrow column on the right containing rollover buttons. The problem is that when items are expanded, the main column grows automatically (apparently to accommodate the cell structure of the disclosure button). This pushes my button column out of the view.

Is there a way to force the rightmost column to stick to the right-hand edge? Setting the columns to fixed widths is no good, because I need the main column to grow in width when the superview resizes.

Regards,

-Jeremy
