I can easily support undo of a certain action, but redo looks very hard.

huh? redo would be to repeat the users action. Why is that hard?

The problem is after doing an undo, the undomanager activates the unsupported redo command. Is there a way to tell the undomamager that once an action is undone it can not be redone?

Seriously, I think that would suck from a users perspective :) I often call upon undo just to see what I changed, press it by mistake, press it one more time than I wanted to (when I want to undo a series of changes). You are turning undo into delete by not supporting redo.

Of cause the seriousness of this usability flaw depends on your application.
