Disappearing "e" in number formatter in IB ???

  • Subject: Disappearing "e" in number formatter in IB ???

If I drag a NumberFormatter onto a TextField in IB (2.4 v349) and then
try to enter the string "Delay: 0.0s" as a positive (or negative) format,
the "e" disappears. This does not happen in the "zero" field.

While I can imagine that the "e" might do something about scientific formatting,
the documentation clearly states:

All other characters specified in a number format string are displayed as typed.

Is this a bug ? If so, is it a useful one ?-)

Puzzled, Bjoern
