And while we preach: think twice when formulating the subject. Generally I think the quality of subjects on this list is good, but I would anyway recommend this excellent article by Jakob Nielsen:

It gives good advice, like placing the word of most value at the front of the subject line, e.g. letters with (authentic) subjects like these: "Easy TableView problem" or "Is there anyway to forward these events to my custom buttons?" are certain to be deleted by me, the first is unclear and the second is too long (and probably will be cut off by my mail client, so I will have no idea what the letter is about).

And yes, it's ironic that the subject for this letter is completely inappropriate -- but I didn't want to start a new thread about netiquette, because as said, I really think the majority on this list do quite well w/o my help! :)
