Hello,

I'm seeking some advice for a project I've been working on for about the last year.

I'm writing a book that introduces the reader to Cocoa development via the development of several games.

The problem is finding someone willing to publish the book. The usual response from those I've approached so far is that there is not a big enough market for such a book.

Feedback from the intended target audience has been very positive so I feel it would be a great shame if the potential readers lost out due to me being unable to find a publisher.

I'd offer a sample chapter (check if you hurt your publishability with this)
to some of the Cocoa beginner sites and then see if someone gets interested
or offer a PDF download for some $$. There certainly is demand but few publishers
react - O'Reilly just managed to push crap until now (I expect that to change with Erik Bucks book).
Here in Germany the saying is that self-publishing serves only the publishing service.

Regards, Bjoern
