Download MacOS 9

Hi,
I am used to this list so I would like to ask here even if my question has
nothing to do with Cocoa, please, it's an emergency.
I am looking for a MacOS 9 boot disk but I didn't find it at the Apple
Developer Support web site. I am a ADC registered user, so I logged in there
but I discovered soon that the section "Download Software/MacOS 9" grants
only the update to the 9.2.2.

My problem is the following. I have my friend's iBook running MacOS 9.0.
I tried to connect my external FW disk to this iBook then it freezed
immediately and now it cannot boot anymore even disabling the extension,
even rebuilding the PRam. I am far away from my city and I have nothing with
me but my PowerBook G4 with MacOS X with "Panther" and "Jaguar + MacOS 9"
installed on two separated internal partions, an external FW disk and some
cable.
The iBook cannot see nor mount nor boot from the FW disk. So I though to
burn a bootable CD with my local Jaguar-MacOS9-System Folder. The iBook
didn't boot from the CD holding down the "c" key at startup. I burned the CD
with Toast dragging the system folder to its console and I marking the
check-box "bootable".
Instead the iBook booted againg from the original and corrupted MacOS 9.0
then it freezed at the same point "Booting in progress").
Last I tried to boot the iBook holding down the "t" key in order to activate
a Fire-Wire connection and remove the System Preferences from the iBook
System Folder working remotely from my PowerBook. But my PB cannot see the
iBook volume (!).
So, I have still thought, if I had a bootable MacOS9 disk I could boot the
iBook and fix its Pref folder.

Where can I download a MacOS9 system?
Or, how could I fix this never ending problem?
Many thanks in advance.

Best Regards
