I did not really check the date of 1.2 release, but I've noticed very
often "December" appears in Release Notes. Presumed it is so indeed and
the whole Q1 was needed just to pack it out and deliver to us, it would
explain that, along with

February 19, 2004: First version of Adding Behavior to a Cocoa Program

of its Document Revision History.
