Custom NSCursor from images and 10.2 = no go ?

Hi all,

I'm running into stranges problems with NSCursors created from TIFF images
The cursor image is a standard TIFF image with an alpha channel.
The image is 14 pixels wide and 14 pixels high.

The cursor works fine on 10.3, but on 10.2.x, the cursor mask is messed up.

I tried to change the image dimensions to 12x12, 10x10.... but to no avail.

I didn't find any technote saying there's a problem on 10.2, and no previous message on the list talked about such a problem.

Am I missing something simple ???
Any hints ?

Thanks
Jerome

PS : If someone wants to test that, I've used the cursors from Preview.app named "BottomLeft.tif", "BottomRight.tif" and so on....
