Apple's developer site is index by google. I just use google most of the time.

You can limit google to return stuff from only a particular domain. For example in this case type the following into googles search field "cursor site:developer.apple.com" or use the advanced search page. Of course it doesn't generally cover your concern about finding this by substrings (not sure if google allows that).

Can someone please fix the search engine at ADC? This is another example of
people having problems because substrings are not matched (and there's no
way to specify this for your search -- it only works on full words.)

When programming, and looking for an API or other type of interface, you'll
often know a "concept" (like a cursor) and be searching for a method or
class that works with that concept. These types of searches demand substring
processing.

As you can tell, I'm still pissed off at not being able to find any
information on "NSIsNil" for a couple of months because of this problem (go
ahead, TRY IT!) Not even Google finds "NSIsNilTransformName"...

Oh, I had simply done a search for "Cursor", and I picked the first
that came up. Darn that NS prefix! Now I see NSCursor. I'll try there.
Thanks.

Hello...

Have you taken a look at the documentation for NSCursor? You can make
any NSImage into a cursor (but if you need to support 10.2, your image
needs to be 16x16 pixels although you can just use transparency to
make smaller cursors).
