Just curious, because I am a big fan of bindings...
What functionality is missing?

To answer the target / action question:
If you are talking about NSButton, you can now use the 'target' and 'argument'
bindings to invoke an arbitrary method with an arbitrary argument list...
I just used this in a small app I wrote, and it worked brilliantly.
