Thanks Scott, just a couple of minutes before I got your answer I tried
that, a little strange I think but it works :) For me 'Export' is from the
app to the HD, so an NSOpenPanel didn't even cross my mind...

essentially what you want isn't a save panel, but rather to pick a location
then, correct?
use an NSOpenPanel instead.
