NSTableView and NSArrayController

My table view doesn't show any data, when my application starts up. I have to click on the table column header, and only then the table view will show all it's data. I am binding the NSTableView columns to NSArrayController. Sending the reloadData message to the NSTableView outlet variable doesn't have any effect.
