Okay, so if either the numerator or the denominator needs to be larger than 18,446,744,073,709,551,615 then you can't express the number as a ratio between two integers. But how often will that happen?

There's always good ol' pi, e, and sqrt(2). Pretty useful numbers, I'd say... :)
