I'm building a simple service that processes a string. After the users invokes my service I would like to display a UI to..

Is it possible to display a UI within the services framework?

Most service providers are just ordinary applications, so yes, a service provider can display UI. Services often require it--for example, TextEdit's services open various things in TextEdit.
