Lately I've been reading about nothing else, it seems. However, that didn't occur to me.

Thanks.

Read about the difference between a view's frame and bounds. See -visibleRect. In fact, you van probably do something as simple as the following.

NSPoint visibleOrigin = [someView visibleRect).origin;

...

// when putting the view back
[someScrollView setDocumentView:someView];
[someView scrollToPoint:visibleOrigin];

Is there a selector to read an NSView scroll position? I see the scrollPoint: selector to set it, but how do I read it back?

Just in case...

What I want to do is: I have an NSView in a scroll view in a window. I want to be able to enter full screen mode, move the view into the full screen, and then later move it back to the scrollview/window. The moving works fine, but if the scroll position is not (0,0), I get visual irregularities. So, I'd like the save the scroll position, and put it back afterwards.
