I am using the "UseWebKit" option when importing HTML into an NSAttributedString, it works OK, but the rendering isn't as good as when I don't use the "UseWebKit" option, i.e. tables don't render nearly as well.

However, when I don't use the UseWebKit option, images don't load. So at the moment I can have good HTML rendering with no image loading, or image loading but not as good HTML rendering, is there any way I can get both?

Not at present.

Why would WebKit not render as well as the old engine? For most purposes, WebKit seems to be light-years ahead of the old proprietary engines found in many of Apple's apps pre-Safari.
