Well, it doesn't work for me.

But the explanation is quite simple: I do use full keaboard accessibility on my computer, but you don't. Since you don't, of course the button is never reached, but this is because it's a button, and not because it's outside of the tab view. Try replacing the button with another text field, and you will experience the same behavior as I do.
