Hello,
After parsing some new header files into the main menu nib file in my
XCode project, Interface Builder went mad. I've tried reversing what I
did, but the problem persists.
The problem first manifested in two ways. When I tried to save the
file, IB kept saying that the file MainMenu~.nib existed and would not
save it based on the red dot in the close window button. In fact, it
was saving file after file with names like MainMenu~~.nib, constantly
adding another tilde. At the same time, XCode SCM complained that it
could not update the status of the nib file. This turns out to be
because the nib was only partially written before IB crashed. It was
missing its keyedobjects.nib file and its CVS directory. I can restore
the file from the MainMenu~.nib file, but I cannot save it. I have
trashed my IB prefs to no avail.
Here is some of the crash log. I would appreciate anyone's advice on
this. Do I just need to recreate the whole nib file? Ugh, spent
months on it.
