Problem loading sound

Dear all,

I want to load a .wav or .aiff file to perform my new compression algorithm (under development). But the problem is I'm unable to load it as an array of floating points. I need to have it like that as I'm designing my algorithm on MATLAB and I can get any .wav file as array of floating points.

I've found nothing like that in NSSound.

Also to be mentioned that I'm new in Cocoa.

Please help me if you can.

PS > NSSound, looks like its only for playing sound.

Raiyan
