Looking through the archives there was talk about trying to get
Apple's RaisedEditor example publicly released. Anyone know the
possibility of that still happening? Or has anyone come up with a good
example of making AddressBook/iCal type inspectors? I wonder why Apple
would want to keep that stuff hidden after already making an example.
Check out the source for Tryst, at
<http://www.trystx.com/development.html>. Francisco Tolmasky, the
author, has re-implemented an address-book-like interface of the style
you're speaking, although apparently without the various bugs that
exist in the Apple version (I've no idea what they are; I'm just taking
his word for it :) ). It's GPL, although Francisco is open to other
offers, I believe...
