Hi all,
I've seen this problem for years. I'm found it weird the behavior was not
universal, so I tried removing the preferences... with no success. I then
found it! If you open your nib file via the Finder or the recent menu you do
not have the behavior. If you open it from Xcode you have it. That's it.
