Why yes!
Click on Finder, and select Mac Help from the Help menu. Then search
for screen capture, which should have the answers you need. You might
find that the format of screendump files are not in a useful format for
your Help files, because they may be PDFs. You should be able to
convert them to a more useful format using Preview.
Or you could use one of the many third-party screen capture utilities,
my favourite being Snapz

hi
I need some help to develop a help text( some thing like an user
manual) for my application. I need to capture the screen and save it
as an image on the help file. I am new to the Mac development, till
now had been using windows and developing software on microsoft
technologies. Is there an equivalent of the Print screen on windows
which we can use so as to capture the whole screen and save as image.?
Thanks in advance for any assistance....

Sanoop
