Check if a file is an alias

  • Subject: Check if a file is an alias

Is there a way to check if a file is an alias (not a UNIX symbolic link, but a Mac OS alias)? I've found ways to check for a symlink, but I haven't found any straight forward answer on finding out if there is a way to check if a file is an alias. I'm open to either UNIX or Cocoa type solutions.

Chad
