Really? I just tried it with one of my .nib files, and after saving it
in text archive format and viewing the files in TextEdit, the
keyedobjects.nib and info.nib were both XML files, and classes.nib,
although not XML, was still in the old-style ASCII property list format
and very readable.
With this said, I believe that keyedobjects.nib is the only really
important file inside the .nib bundle in terms of what your app will
actually use. The other files are just for IB's use and can be deleted
to make a .nib file which will still work fine in your app but which
will not easily be viewable or editable in IB (although it's pretty
easy to just make a generic classes.nib and info.nib and get around
this).
