That is HTML Help.
The problem is that this doesn't work when I click in the menu help.
Well, it does for me and pretty much everybody else. So I guess it's
something you're doing or not doing.
Try the article on HTML Help at
http://www.cocoadevcentral.com
instead. It describes things in more detail, and even though it is
for an older version of xCode, you should be able to work it out
between those two.
Can you tell me if there is a way to show this kind of help when you
click in a help button?
Yes, there is. Have a look at the docs for NSHelpManager.
openHelpAnchor:inBook: looks like it can do what you want.
